  1. Hey everyone! I haven't been on in a while and I was reading back a couple pages. I saw that someone people were discussing the loud noises their stomachs make and possibly gas issues ... I just so happened to talk to my doctor about that today! Turns our the loud rumblings are just the digestion and they seem louder mostly because it's at the forefront of our minds. Also as far as the gas thing goes he told me I am having all the trouble because I am swallowing air. He said I need to concentrate on taking smaller sips. Just FYI and maybe TMI
  2. I know this is silly but what does "PB" mean? I haven't thrown up yet but I have eaten too much not thinking about it and it hurt in my chest. I wish sometimes it would just come up. Glad you're ok! I guess this is part of the live n' learn process.
  3. I can DEFINATELY eat more .. and frankly I have on a few occassions. I just get really freaked out about "stretching" my pouch. I guess I just don't know how big it really is (they say a golf ball but it's hard to visualize that as my stomach) so I am afraid of screwing up. Does anyone else feel this way?
  4. How much is everyone eating? I am still supposed to be eating 1/4 cup 3 times a day with no snack. I have to do this for 3 more weeks and then I can have up to 1/2 cup and 2 snacks. That is my maintanence diet so technically that should be the max forever. What does everyone else's doctors say?
  5. Ssanka: My doctor told me I could start having sex again as soon as I felt up to it. It wasn't going to hurt the band. Just not to do anything TOO crazy that involves a lot of ab work
  6. Hey everyone! I am new here and still figuring all this out (so bare with me ..) My name is Jessie and I was banded on 7/26/07. Very excited so far and I can't wait to start working out. I'm getting married on February 23rd so hopefully I will meet my first goal by then!
