  16. I had greens during this stage and my pouch handled the greens great! Only had one or 2 folks though. I even tried sautéed spinach, with onions and garlic too. Be sure to focus on Protein though. That your goal; protein , protein, protein lol
  17. I know how disappointed you feel. When I met with my surgeon, I was so sure that I would be able to have the surgery in one but oh no, he dropped the bomb on me and said 2 surgeries. I was devastated. My husband comforted me and said that he is sure it's for the best. I am living proof that I am sure that it was God's will for me to have 2 surgeries. Sooo, 3 mths later I had RNY (also had surgery date rescheduled) and haven't looked back. You will happy and pleased with the results. Everything happens for a reason.
  18. I was off work for 6 weeks. Felt better after week 5.
  19. I had my surgery in two. I was so very upset but glad afterwards. I had lots of scar tissue and my band wasn't connected either! I had RNY surgery 3 months later. My recovery was not a walk in the part (RNY) either, but I wouldn't trade this journey for anything. I am as pleased as punch. Had RNY in Sept 2013 and down 70 pds
