I'm V.
Just someone that has been struggling with my weight my entire life. Went from being around 180 as a teen and with various life struggles happening.. I'm now at 350. I've tried so many diets, exercised when I had the time, etc etc. Struggling with horrible depression it's just gotten worse and worse. Now I can't really do too much without pain. It used to just be my back, it's hurt most of my life. But now it's my knees, feet, and other joints.
I love to do so many things, and it feels like now I can't do anything I love anymore. I used to love cooking. Fresh ingredients, always healthy food with bold flavors. I used to love making things from jewelry to paintings. But the pain and depression just keeps holding me back. I feel like I've just lost everything. If it were not for my husband, I don't know how I'd be surviving at all.

Anyways, I'm just considering WLS at the moment. Looking into all my options. I've not had insurance most of my life and with my husband being in the military now, I have access to Tricare and am praying that they can help me with this. I'm most interested in LSG or DS. Though I know I might have trouble with both from Tricare, I know they are the best fit for me.

Uhh.. that's all I can think of. I haven't been able to sleep, just been running things about in my head over and over. So I thought I'd join here and find out more about WLS and how it works for others. :)
