My name is Heather. I am 32 yrs old and weigh close to 215 lbs. As a child, I was very thin, I actually was TOO thin and was diagnosed with Anorexia and Bulemia at the age of 16. I weighed a sickly 80 lbs by the time I was 17. I was hospitalized and forced to gain weight. I have always had a struggle with my weight. Now, I look back and hate myself for "hating my self" back then. At age 21, I had my first born son, he passed away in my arms from SIDS, this is where my weight gain started.... I used food as an "out" to deal with my grief. In 2005, I was blessed with my Rainbow Baby Girl. She is my everything and I vowed to get healthy so that I can watch her grow up and have children of her own. I started having health issue after issue. I have severe PCOS, high blood pressure, hidradenitis suppurativa, depression, headaches, lethargy, bad ankles, feet hurt, bad back, etc. My biggest hurdle is that my husband and I have been ttc for 8 yrs now. Once I can get the surgery, I think my life would be so much better! I have a date set for my surgery: Jan 13, 2014!!!! It cant get here soon enough!
