Had my surgery last thurs and had a drain until I left (sat). It was not a big deal. It hurt a little bit when it was removed but it was manageable.

It's getting close! I'm not feeling scared..more like Antsy to hurry up and get this over... I'm gonna kick ass through all of it and make myself and all my supportive family proud!! I want to wear a bikini next summer!!!!!! -
Put a banana in my protein shake. Crazy to think this is a cheat move, but I am to stick to clears and protein shakes only. It was so delicious. I'll let my kids finish up the rest of the bananas though... Gotta try harder!

I went to the grocery store and found flavor infused broths. They are higher in sodium so I am using a splash in my low sodium varieties. Pretty dang good! I also prefer the flavor of vegetable broth over meat broths. -
I've had a couple of family members tell me stories of people they know who had the gastric bypass and gained all of their weight back. They are asking me if I'm sure I want to spend the money on the sleeve. I defended my position in the moment but it's is creating second thoughts..how is everyone else dealing with this?

Does Vegetable Broth count as a clear liquid?
