  1. Okay thanks I was hoping it wasn't just me! I had surgery the 24th and the max I have hit so far is 365 calories lol
  2. I'm not focusing on calories currently but I do log my food and was just wondering about how many you guys are getting in a day? I'm doing really well with my liquids but I find myself forgetting to eat or forcing myself to get something nutritional down.
  3. Ahh how annoying I had lost all my water weight by 3 days post op (young kidneys is what they kept saying) lol but the gas lasted until day 7 for me. Goodluck hope you feel better soon.
  4. Water water water your skin needs water to rebuild cells and keep hydrated. Get that water in
  5. I was told no broccoli...something about producing too much gas. My dr only lets us have cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, cream of potato, and plain tomato. Have to strain or pulverize the soups.Ahh gas that makes sense, I'll play it safe since I just got rid of all that uncomfy gas
  6. Did you get the recipes I emailed you I did! Thank you so muchYou are so welcome. Hey we are all in this together. We are like "fluffy" sorority sisters. LolLol I love fluffy, going to try the nutty butter one tonight. I want to try the pumpkin one but don't want to go to the store today lol
  7. Did you get the recipes I emailed you I did! Thank you so much
  8. Thursday right!? Almost there!
  9. Lol I just had my first sf Popsicle yesterday in idk how long. Does anyone know if we can have broccoli cheese soup no chunks on the cream soup phase?
  10. I never even posted my opinion on any of the surgeries in this thread. I don't go around preaching about WLS. I was just saying I don't think it's inappropriate for these people to express themselves you can choose not to read it or not to even open the threads that are clearly on the subject. That is your choice but no one should have to censor themselves to cater to you especially when they are clearly responding to the subject of the post.
  11. Not sure after 6 weeks but they recommended I take 6 weeks off work
  12. I'm willing to try whatever so long as I am not limited to room temp water lol
  13. HAs anyone experienced this? I prefer ice cold water but the last few days it has been making me cramp when sipping. Room temperature doesn't. Boo
  14. That's so great you are so supportive of your sister. I had to do boost shakes for one month (one week left) and my fiancée has been replacing two meals a day with shakes which has been really helpful actually! So thankful to have a great support system and I bet she is too!
  15. I don't have staples I just have the steri strips. But I can imagine it being ultra creepy having a "zipper" on my front. That's what it reminds me of. I think you will feel so much more "normal" when they remove those suckers. Maybe if you have a pain pill left over take it first before you go in? Goodluck will be thinking of you.
  16. March flew by!!! Holy crap we are going to be a year post op in no time! :-)
  17. You are gorgeous before and after! I am one week post up and seeing your pics is so inspiring and motivational. Thank you! Breathtaking <3
  18. My only thoughts are maybe it's the hormones out fat cells are excreting.. Idk lol
  19. You know I am 23 had surgery march 24th and was just thinking this like 30min ago and then came across your post, how funny. So idk what it is or what's it's from because I haven't looked into it as I just became aware. I never ever get acne and I have dry skin.... Well this week my forehead is breaking out along my hair line and my face is oily and I'm getting blackheads. I too have been washing a lot. Weird.
  20. I also nominate carolinagirl! For what it is worth!
  21. Out of everything I brought.. I used Chapstick, deoderant, toothbrush, hairbrush and phone charger. I brought a book but was flying too high on pain meds to be interested.
  22. Doing great! My nut is now allowing me to have cream soups no chunks and I'm still on the boost shakes and water.. That's just something savory if I need to mix up all the sweetness. Another week and I'll go to mushies. But day 7 was a huge turning for my pain, discomfort, and energy all improved greatly so I am happy about that! Am down 12.5lbs can't complain! And having regular BMs again woohoo lol
  23. I always wanted to try Zumba but I am 63 and not in the best shape for being on my feet. My knees suck and back is very bad. Could I do a class ? Ty for the help We have Water zumba here! For those low impact people, maybe see if they have it near you?
  24. That does seem incredibly silly to me. I am not a fan of this.
  25. Unless it's drastically different from your current lifestyle i wouldn't consider it a diet fad. I consider it making better choices! And if you decide to make it a lifestyle change even better! I did and feel so much better. Plus you have a great tool to help you maintain.
