Post op oily face?

I'm 16, had my surgery on March 27th, 2014. After the operation my face has been extremely oily, where I needed to wash my face at least three times a day. Is this common? If not, what is the problem? Thank you!

I don't know. I was 60 when I had it

You know I am 23 had surgery march 24th and was just thinking this like 30min ago and then came across your post, how funny. So idk what it is or what's it's from because I haven't looked into it as I just became aware. I never ever get acne and I have dry skin.... Well this week my forehead is breaking out along my hair line and my face is oily and I'm getting blackheads. I too have been washing a lot. Weird.

My only thoughts are maybe it's the hormones out fat cells are excreting.. Idk lol

I WISH I had oily skin! I'm a week post op and my skin has never been so dry and scaly. :-(

I noticed this also. I have been constantly washing and/ or wiping my face. Crazy
