  1. I don't know if it's common, but my problem may have been that I was taking too much protein in the form of liquid. Today I started off with solid protein and I did feel the restriction. I think at sometime I started trying my own thing and I have to stick to what my doctor told me which is to eat protein first, vegetables second and carbohydrates last. It's easy to get off track especially when you can finally eat. Keep up the good work all of you! Congratulations on your success. I'm looking to lose 20 or 30 more pounds, or just get under 200.
  2. Thank you for this information. I have been getting a lot of my protein through liquid form. I'm going to change that and see what happens.
  3. I am 1 year post-op and I am having the same problem. I've lost around 50 pounds and 4 dress sizes, but I am at a plateau. I've had several fills, but I don't have restriction. I started out my highest weight at 270, and went down to 211. Since then my weight keeps creeping up a pound or two at a time. I've gained about 8 pounds. Even though my clothes still fit, I can feel it. My doctor is thinking about replacing my port. Even after a fill, I feel my food slipping past the band.
