I'm a native Californian who has lived in 12 states. I have grown children and two young grandchildren. I'm a synesthete, specifically I have chromesthesia.

Interests are varied - I'm a music fanatic, all kinds. I'm a book fanatic, again all kinds. My two secret vices are South Park and MMORPGs.

I'm maried to a loving and supportive man and I have mostly healthy relationships in my life. The obesity and food addiction stem from intense child abuse and later intense domestic violence from a marriage entered into during my teens. The issues are as resolved as they are going to get, I think. The wounds are healed but the scars remain. True for everyone over something I think.

I've spent most of my working life in non-profits, domestic violence shelters, hospice, etc.

Life is good these days.
