  1. Thanks Jodie, wish you all the best. My goal is to continue with healthy choices, juicing and exercise plus my Mary Kay is keeping me busy so that's a plus
  2. Well, Tuesday evening I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain and finally found out that the past 3 cat scans I had revealed that there was a disconnected from my band to the port and the pain I had been experiencing since Thanksgiving was most likely caused by the tubing moving around in my stomach. I was enraged that Kaiser didn't mention this once but in the cat-scan report was indicated each time.....so Wednesday I had an emergency surgery and the band was removed. I'm a little disappointed since I was told that I'd have it forever but at the same time this surgeon said they are not permanent and he's seen so many cases go wrong...so I guess now I'm more relieved than anything. The pain on a scale from 1-10 was 20. I truly thought I was going to die.. now my weight loss will solely be from disciplining myself and exercising. I never want to experience something like that again.
  3. Yes I'm going to try really hard to avoid them. If I see that other foods are bothering me I will go and get it adjusted. Thanks for the feedback x/o
  4. Last night's scare was the worst. Hubby never saw me vomiting like last night just to get a grasp of air :(

Just out of curiosity, do u have a band? I did much vomiting when I was banded for almost 4 yrs. Got so used to it it was 2nd nature to me. Since being sleeved I've only vomited once, cuz I pushed past my limit and ate way too much. Boo on the vomiting...

Hi, yes I have the band. Since he removed some of the liquid I've been able to eat more...not too much, just about right. What is the sleeve?

  5. I had the surgery in 2009 and barely starting having food get stuck. Mostly bread and tortillas. I'm debating if I should go and have them loosen it or just try to avoid these foods? I know I can't have it removed...I could never afford that.
