  1. I'm 5 weeks out and am still falling asleep during the day and have insomnia at night. It's very frustrating! I work 12 hour days and cannot fall asleep at work. Worried.
  2. My friend stopped losing and it was because she wasn't getting enough calories. When she started eating more, she started losing again.
  3. I work In a food manufacturing facility. We cannot have food or drinks on the packaging area where I work because of the chance of cross contamination and pest control issues as well as housekeeping issues. I can walk to a water fountain as I'm able to, I run three machines though and it's not often I'm able to.
  4. Sleeved 11/11/13 SW 237 Goal: 137 today's Weight: 198!!! Finally in Onderland!!! So excited and ready to just keep losing!
  5. The gas and getting used to the new feelings of the stomach was the worst for me. I did take pain Meds for 3 days after getting home but some of that was to help me get comfortable to sleep (sitting up in my recliner). I've had 2 c-sections and a hysterectomy and the pain for me was compatible. The gas was not. Just remember to walk ASAP and take those gas strips before you think you need to.
  6. My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years. We get along wonderfully and love each other totally. He didn't care whether I had the sleeve or not, just wanted me to be happy and be willing to be in family photos. Now as I'm losing the weight he says things like " I'm gonna have to keep my eye on guys around you". As if I won't tell them myself to back off. Anyone dealt with a handsome hubby that developed insecurities as you lost weight? Pointers?
  7. I was sleeved 11/11 and am still having problems. I still really cant tolerate many foods so i drink premiere shakes. I fall asleep during the day and have insomnia at night. I can't get comfortable to sleep in bed still and toss and turn. My right side hurts under my ribcage but I had ultrasound before my surgery and didn't have any stones so my dr doesn't seem to think that it's my gallbladder but is muscle spasms? Anyone having problems like this?
  8. My dr just had me do no carbs and low sugar/ high protein for ten days before.
  9. I'm 4.5 weeks out and cannot sleep at night and fight falling asleep all day. I work day shift and this is not going to work well for me!
  10. My test is scheduled for Next Friday so I hope it goes by quickly
  11. I was sleeved 11/11/13 SW 237 CW 201. I'm having trouble with sharp pains in my right side below my ribcage. I believe it's my gallbladder but my surgeon thinks I pulled a muscle so I'm waiting. It hurts when I eat or drink since day before yesterday so Im making myself drink anyway but it's not a joyful thing for me right now. I just requested that my surgeon order a gallbladder test to see if its functioning correctly and am waiting on his response. I'm ready to be on happy street and past all of this. But I'm still happy with my WLS decision.
  12. Oh wow! Can't believe you waited! I'm at the point where my OOP max is met for the year and if I'm going to end up needing it done I'd rather get it done now. The pain for me was more like contractions but in my side instead of in utero. He said I probably pulled a muscle and put me off work another week. I was believing that until it slowed down and picked back up when I drank of tried to eat. That doesn't seem like muscle spasms to me. Now I've texted his receptionist (a friend of mine) and requested a test on my gallbladder and haven't heard anything back. The sharp pains have stopped but it hurts when I press on the area on my body. I can't afford to make trips to ER to validate my belief.
  13. I feel like maybe he thinks I'm a drama queen but i want to shout " I had a baby that weighed 9# 12 oz with no Meds and didn't go to hospital until I was dilated to 8! I can take pain!"
  14. He said its usually further out and when they've lost at least 50 lbs. I'm 4.5 weeks out and down 36. I just texted his receptionist (my friend) and asked her to have him send me to have it checked for function tomorrow. I went back to work 12 hour shift Monday and got home that night and its been off and on pangs ever since but they have been less frequent.
  15. I have had pain radiating from under my right ribcage and into my back for two days now. At night it's worse. It's mostly sharp pains and worse after I eat or drink. Before my sleeve surgery I had an ultrasound that showed no gall stones so my dr doesn't really think its my gallbladder. It hurts when I press on area of it as well but isn't debilitating like other people have suggested it is for them. Does this sound like gallbladder to you?
  16. I used to eat sugar free chocolate candies (russel Stovers) and noticed after a while they were turning my teeth darker. Might want to watch for that.
  17. Pdxman I can understand your eating pattern and wish I had the ability to use time like that at work but I don't. I have a 30 min lunch break and that includes the walking back and forth to my job location so really I have 25 min to eat lunch. My breaks are 10 min each. I'm at work at 5:30am with break at 8:45. Lunch at 11:45 and breaks at 2:30 & 4:30 off work at 6:00 pm. I'm having trouble planning my protein. Cannot leave my job location to eat and cannot have a drink on the job. Any insight you have would be wonderful for me..
  18. Last week: 206.8 Today: 201!! Goal 199. So close to Onederland!! Start weight 237. Sleeved 11/11/13
  19. Lower right under ribcage is gallbladder. Do you have yours or have you had it checked?
  20. I can totally relate! I can eat dill pickle sandwiches! I don't eat pickles with my burger. I eat a burger with my pickles!
