  1. Thanks geaux! U must be in Louisiana? What part?
  2. I have type one and used to take 60 units of insulin and have high sugars, now I have normal sugar levels and only take 7-10 units of insulin daily.
  3. Started at 250, I am now 202, and I'm insulin resistant. Thought I'd be on onederland by now.... ;/
  4. Would love any feedback, it'll make me feel better . What do u all think, tomorrow is my four month mark and I'm down 48 pounds, I may be in another stall, oh well, point is I wanna know what people of my losses so fat. I eat 6-800 calories, less than 40 carbs and 30 fats and 60-100 grams protein. Am I doing ok? I hate feeling like a slow loser!
  5. I agree you have to try your best the first 6 months to a year and change ur life around, but IMO, you do not need to work out four hours a day. 1-2 hours is plenty, and if u do things right, your body will still burn afterwards, after an hour or two or working out, your still kinda wasting ur time, because ur body can only do so much and u really don't want to over exhaust ur body. Keep ur calories low, carbs and fats low, and drink that water, it will pay off whether u lose fast or slow.
  6. I was 8-10 pounds away from my goal of 195, oh well, I guess I set my standards way too high, but that kept me motivated. I did lose 15 pounds, so I'm ok with that.
  7. I'm 3 pounds away from onederland , I really wish this stall would break, my last one lasted a month! I'm down 48
  8. Stupid phone I meant to say u can whip them with some cream of tartar
  9. U can whip them with done cream is tartar. Whip until they get a bit whiter, also don't flip them more than once it they will fall flat.
  10. Wow!! U lost really fast! What did u do?? Lol
  11. I was sleeved July 7th and I'm down 48 pounds. Sometimes I feel like a slow one, other times I don't, I started at 250 and now 203, I think I've hit my second stall after I lost 17 pounds. I guess my body needed a break, lol.oh well as long as it comes off.
  12. Thanks for the opinions everyone....I enjoy reading/ hearing positive posts when I'm curious about something. As far as weighing in once a week, it doesn't bum me out if I stall or what not, I weigh myself to keep myself accountable. It's motivational for me as I'm sure for others as well. I have many goals I want to reach whether its a weight on the scale or a size I want to drop. I don't compare myself to others, neither do I depend on a scale. If I set personal goals that's my preference becAuse I know in the end I will reach my ultimate goal
  13. It's my personal goal, and I only weigh once a week... Geeze
  14. So I'm curious on how often people stall, just out if curiosity. Last time I stalled I was 218/220, now I'm 203/204 and I think I might be again. Not sure, but this popped in my head and I'd like to know others experiences with the dreaded stall! Lol. I'm trying to get to onederland by my bday in 2 weeks exactly, it's driving me nuts!!
  15. I've used try about time, they're good and not too sweet, kinda pricey though.
  16. I take two Prilosec and two Zantac daily! Recommended by my doctor, and its working for me.
  17. I like it a lot! I get it a HEB, where in Tx are u?
  18. If u like frappuccinos take one cup water, two cups ice, choc or vanilla protein powder, one tbsp regular or decaf instant coffee, one scoop , and 1-2 stevia packets and some SF creamer of ur choice and blend. It's my breakfast almost every morning!
