Going from sleeve to bypass this Thursday!

I'm a little late to the party, converting from VSG to RNY on January 31

I'm having my bypass January 31st! I didn't lose enough to have a lot of loose skin but I had a tiny amount.

I never had acid reflux until I had a gastric sleeve. But I take 1 prilosec and 2 zantac a day.

I had my sleeve at a BMI of 72, now I'm at a BMI of I believe 62 and converting to distal gastric bypass.

Because I have awful acid reflux the surgeon wants to do a gastric bypass where he makes my stomach into a pouch BUT he wants to do something similar to a duodenal switch as well to maximize my weightloss, he feels its necessary at this point in my weightloss. Anyone have something similar? I feel like this is very rare lol. He said he has 2-3 patients who will be getting the same thing done.

I had the sleeve and 2 months after I had to have my gall bladder removed because I had gallstone pancreatitis. It depends on the person.

I had the sleeve at 19 in 2015, but now I'm going to be converting to the bypass by the end of 2018! Just looking for some people around my age who are also pre-op bypass!
