  6. I'm not quite out a month will be on the 20th. I'm in the mushie stage since Thursday but didn't try till today! I took one egg, added a touch of milk seasonings then scrambled with some cheese. Did a runny scramble, then mixed it in with a couple of spoonfuls of cottage cheese! It was sooooo good! I was able to eat about half of it! It was a great way to start off the morning!
  7. One of my favorite things when I go onto solids is my crockpot! One of my favorite recipes is skinless chicken thighs, throw into the crockpot, season with salt, pepper and what other spices you like to use, squeeze a whole bottle of Italian Dressing over the chicken. Put the crockpot in low for 8 hours. And when you get home it is done! I usually would serve with a roasted veggie!!! The meat is super tender and melts and I think it will be ok for my tummy! Of course unless my taste has changed like it has with some items! Lol
  8. Hang in there! It does get better! Yesterday was my 1st week post op! I could not believe how good I felt! Scary good! I'm still on liquids for another 2 weeks! Just take it one day at a time! And she is very right about pandora! Find some good music to sleep to! Take care and hugs!!!
  9. Well I've done pretty good so far except the first night home! Gonna wait till next week to even worry about the protein when I'm on fulls I think as long as I get my water and liquids to keep me hydrated that is the point of the first week! Tonight was heaven! I was so sick of beef or ck brooth I remembered they said we could have veg soup but drain out the vegs!! I think that just saved me! It was Wonderful!! Just wanted to share for those that are so sick of just the broth!
  10. Thanks everyone! It only happened twice but was miserable when there is nothing in your tummy! I am able to sip the isopure they sent home but there is no way I'm getting in all my fluids at this point!
