Finally met my first post-op goal...under 300!!!

Went bowling as a team building activity at work yesterday. Felt good to be active, but needed to break out the dilaudid for the first time since the weekend I got home from the hospital!

I've lost ten pounds since my 12/11/14 surgery! O_O

Hit a new low - 206lbs (168lbs lost)

This organic chicken broth is just nasty by itself!

Just heard a horror story from a coworker about a friend who ate so much she "burst her stomach and it couldn't be fixed" a year after surgery. I call BS, but a little part of me wonders if it can happen!

Cheese is hard to barf up. Won't be trying that again for a while. It's been a tough day.

Just realized I had my underware on backwards. Sadly, it fit better. :-(

My mouth tastes like wet dog. Vitamins? Protein? Ketosis? Beats me, but it's gross.

There's an age limit on purchasing cough syrup now?? I bought Dimetapp for the kids tonight and got carded!? And we're talking the regular stuff on the shelf, not behind the pharmacy counter.

I'm only counting the doctor's scales as official so not updating ticker, but this morning my home scale showed me down 22 pounds. I'm 10 days out. Wow.

When did everyone get off the pain meds?

My youngest brother had a heart attack. If that doesn't clear up any doubts about getting this done, I don't know what will.

Crystal Light doesn't suck. I feel like it used to. Sorry I waited so long to try it again!

8 months post op today and I have currently lost 101 lbs, It's exciting to get down this low in less than a year!!! I look forward to having a healthy life now not a overweight one!!!
