  16. Hw 316lbs Pre surgery 300lbs Cw 273lbs This journey has its ups and downs. Believe I just passed 3 week plateau. I was told no bread no rice no pasta must have 60-90 grams of protein per day! I struggle constantly I find myself hungry and obsessed with food I have stick to the restrictions are a piece of candy here or there and keep up the fluids and exercise daily. These are my demons and I am trying to deal with them but is it hard and when is it going to be easier? I was told I would be hungry like this or crave sweets which I do sometimes. Having a semi meltdown

  19. I think so I am 4wks post op and I had a bacterial infection in my stomach and I have to take 4 big antibiotics in the morning and 4 at night for 14 days and I only have 3 days left I have had no problem I just take one at a time. I was told the same thing also I am learning that everything they tell you at the doctors is not always true
  20. I'm 3wks in and had similar experiences! I had to realize I am still healing and I needed to stay away from restaurants and keep those goods out of the house. People need to support you and maybe eat the pizza away from you. Family and friends want to feed you it's hard to resist! My doctor suggested that every hour take 2 bites of something to eat. Maybe a few more weeks all I'd the promises of not being hungry all the time will kick in
  21. There are some groups one free one where for 10wks think my insurance will cover it! I think I need it
  22. I'm glad I found this site! I have experienced a lot of what people have posted! I thought I was going crazy. I have lost 31 lbs. The hunger pains I was not expecting I'm trying to cope with them and my old habits! When I'm hungry I want to eat and I try and go for old foods that I still have a taste for but my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I do exercise now which is great I started with on demand walking basics and then walking the track 1 mile a day! I am optimistic about losing the weight and feeling better which I do already! The recovery is a little more and different than I anticipated
