December post ops
This-I'll even go through the trouble of making something only to eat a teaspoon and decide I don't want it. It's hard to keep track of protein when I'm only eating teaspoons periodically.

Any January 2014 Surgeries?
You all will feel totally different post op. I'm only 4 days out and my appetite is almost completely gone. I was a fast food addict too now the thought of fast food makes me sick.

Congrats my surgery was 12/30 and I was in a lot of pain too day 1 every day has gotten noticeably better. Day 1 I regretted my decision and was angry at anyone who had anything positive to say. I'm glad I'm over that looking forward to the journey!

Protein Shakes with Fruit
Thanks I probably shouldn't be having them either . There needs to be more instruction (at least at my center) around the preop diet. They just give you a sheet of paper that list liquids only very casually. Do they not get that going cold turkey (no pun intended) off of food for 7 days or more before the surgery is a big deal and may need a little more follow up, instruction, or gradually working into-seeing that overeating is the real issue.

Protein Shakes with Fruit
So I'm on Day 6 of my preop diet and I've been adding frozen berries (no sugar added) to my Protein shakes. Does anyone do this right away post op or is it usually not recommended?

First surgeon appt.
Hi I have BCBS IL HMO and the approval process was super easy-took about 2 days. The only hassle is making sure you get a referral from your PCP that covers all visits and the surgery. My BMI is 42 with no comorbidities

Best choice I ever made!
Wow you look great! Your arms aren't flabby either-How did you avoid a lot of extra skin ?

January surgery & hospital
Right I'm complaining about being on day 4 of a 7 day diet. I hope your cold goes away too. I'm only one day ahead of you and trying my best to stay out of the cold and avoid crowded public germy places. I don't want anything to delay this surgery. I don't think I could do a liquid diet again with this stomach.

December Surgeries!?!?!?
Good Luck everyone over the nxt week-we are moving on to the losing side right as 2013 comes to a close/bring on the new year! I told my husband this reminds me of going in to deliver a baby. I'm excited about the outcome but not really looking forward to the labor (procedure).
