I am so glad you had a great experience with Dr. Aceves. I am scheduled for the band on August 10th with him. I will drive down from Arizona and will be self pay. I am very excited but very nervous all at the same time.

Hi there, I'm from Minnesota too-Duluth. I recently relocated to lake havasu, arizona. Will have my band placed on Aug 10 by Dr. Aceves in Mexicali, MX. Miss riding my motorcycle to Grand Rapids, but don't miss the cold.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. 38 year old female Registed Nurse from Arizona (recently relocated from Minnesota). Scheduled to have the lap band in Mexicali with Dr. Aceves on August 10th. Very excited and scared all at the same time. Have been reading this forum for last couple weeks and I feel like I know some of you already.:biggrin1: I made the decision to have this done a couple months ago. Didn't even bother with Insurance...takes too long and have already heard from a couple other people that i know that very tough to get approval. Have been on a darn diet ever since i can remember and have had enough:faint:. Can't wait to get this done.
