  1. I am getting banded in 2 days and I was wondering the same thing, but it DOES come down to the fact that everyone is different. I am a 19 year-old male and statistics say that I will lose more than a woman at 50 years old. But I could end up losing 1lb. per week(not likely but there is always that chance).I am planning on going to the gym 3x a week with bicycling thrown into the mix. My goal is to lost 115lbs. after a year. i wish you luck.
  2. Well then Ill hope for the best.
  3. I definitely got them once I started gaining weight. I hear smoking weed can also attribute to it. I lost like 30lbs. last year and they got smaller because once I gained that all back, they got bigger. They f*$#ing suck. Its sort of an embarrassing subject because I got made fun of a LOT in junior high. I used to be thin before 5th grade.
  4. I am flying down to San Diego on Friday and either the same day or Saturday I am being picked up for the program then flown to Mexico.
  5. ----The post before this got all screwed up when I tried editing it so i posted again ----- I may just see you there. Just in case you are walking around, I am 6'2 about, with a pony tail and sideburns. Oh and blue eyes :car:. I'll probly have a metal band shirt on. Look for dragons or grim reaper Oh and what is the hospital called?

  11. Hey all, Just wondering, how much does age affect weight loss? All I have heard is that a 19 year-old male (like me) will lose more weight usually than a 50 year-old male. Can anyone add on to that? Thanks Tim
  12. Thanks, Holly! :biggrin1: Have you been banded yet or are you waiting? I saw ur sig but there was no progress. Thanks again for the warm welcome, Tim
