Age and weight loss

Hey all,

Just wondering, how much does age affect weight loss? All I have heard is that a 19 year-old male (like me) will lose more weight usually than a 50 year-old male.

Can anyone add on to that?

    Yup Tim, your metabolism is faster. It slows down as you age. Of course you have to help - you have to get up and move (exercise) and get away from the TV/XBox etc. I think you will do great, we'll all be cheering for you! I wish I was 19 doing this.

    Hehe hello and thanks again Holly. Yeah im planning on going to the gym for cardio 30 mins 3 times a week. I also have a friend that is supporting me a lot and we are going to go bike riding together.
