I've been overweight since I was 12. I have been struggling more and more with depression and an undying food addiction. I have recently started food addiction therapy in preparation for my banded/thinner lifestyle. I have lost and gained approximately 60 lbs over the past 3-4 years (from 2007 until 2011) THIS IS MY YEAR!!! I will be WELL under 300 lbs by this time next year if not at my goal weight! I am getting banded because I KNOW I can lose the weight, I just need a tool to help me keep it off and stay motivated for change. I feel the biggest motivation is seeing the number on the scale, sorry, but I'm a realist!
I am a mother of two, a boy and a girl and want to get out of this FAT body for them, but mainly for myself!
I will one day be able to sit in an airplane seat (buckled in), ride any of the adult rides at the amusement park, buy "skinny jeans" at JC Penny's and shop in stores in my small town! My biggest thing is I want to be able to go into victoria secret and buy bras and matching panties MY ACTUAL SIZE!
I have been a pretty girl trapped in a FAT BODY LONG ENOUGH!
