Omg me too!!! I think about it all the time and can't get to sleep. Then have weird dreams about it being in the hospital lol. Crazy!!!

Wow it really sucks that people say this stuff and don't support us. But it's good to hear that I'm not the only one with negative people around me!! And I work at a hospital and am the Secretary of the surgical unit so it was hard telling all of those nurses!! Especially the Manager of the unit!!! She keeps trying to talk me out of it. But at least she is getting me a private room lol!! My parents aren't on board either so that really bums me out. . I love these forums tho!! Makes me feel so much better!! It's good to have support even if its from people I don't even know . Thanks guys!!!!

The cleanse was awful! but it's all worth it. You're worth it. Don't stress yourself out, you will be fine. The week before my surgery I got so stressed that I broke out in hives. It was pretty intense, you just need to relax and focus on your endgoal! I'm so excited for you! And as always, I'm always here to talk if you need someone!

You can do this! My surgery is just over 2 weeks away and I have the same feelings and I just remember that there are thousands of these operations performed each year and the complication rate is very low nation wide. We are all doing this to be healthier and happier for ourselves and for the rest of our lives. Stay focused on the final goal and don't forget why you started this journey. Hang in there, we have your back!

I totally agree. I get that all the time "Why don't you just do it the normal way??" Or "I know someone who did that and gained all her weight back. I'm sure you'll do fine though".

Tells me that I didn't need the surgery!!!! I understand where they are coming from but it's getting on my nerves....do they honestly think that I would put myself through ALL of this just because?! What really grind my gears is when they don't even educate themselves on the surgery and just assume crap!

Just think of it as a temporary setback and that the surgery will happen! I was on track for an August surgery, but now it will be October. In the grand scheme of things, just a few weeks difference from the original plans. I'm from Madison, Wisconsin.

I feel very ready. I've been preparing since January. Slowly changing habits. I track food and exercise using MyFitnessPal, I've separated liquids from food, I try to chew 30 times a bite, no sodas or caffeine, Protein first. I eat on smaller plates, limit my carbs and so on. I've stocked up on Protein Powder, blender bottles, sugar-free syrups, puddings, popsicles and instant Breakfast. I've got more than a months worth of freezer meals ready for my family. I've cleared my work schedule, told my close family and friends. Now I'm just counting down the days until Oct 2nd. I guess you now know why my family calls me the city manager. 37 days to go.

Welcome ladies

Don't buy too many!! I have heard from numerous people that your tastes change after the surgery so u might not like the same shake after that u did before! Just an FYI
