  1. Glad to hear from you and everything is okay. After surgery how difficult was it to get up and walk? Have you heard from love-Delgado?

  3. Thanks so much for the recipe, sounds like a weekly for me
  4. Gosh, it all depends. First, on your insurance company and their requirements. Mine requires six months supervised diet. Secondly, You start when either your PCP or surgeon records official starting weight. However, remember that the more you lose before will be more that you can lose after. It's a percentage thing. Good luck and your surgeon's office will probably contact your insurance company for requirements.
  5. Lisa, I am wondering about blood pressure pills. I am on 2. I can understand that after surgery and I lose weight that my pressure will go down but ... Why would it go down immediately following surgery? I am scared to stop taking them. What did your doctor tell you so I can ask my doctor.
  6. Just found an app Get-to-Goal maybe this can help track your progress since your kick start is near
  7. I love Branson pickle and wonder if you are able to tolerate it post op. If so, how long post op did you try it?
  8. How soon after surgery did you start taking the stool softeners?
  9. I understand why Star Jones kept referring to her weight loss as a medical intervention, which it is for most of us. Imagine the state of mind we are in now and then try and comprehend 20 million other people weighing in with their opinions about your decision.
  10. Good Luck on Wed. I'll be thinking and praying for you. Let us know ASAP when your out and stable.
  11. I know when major stress happens, like a death, I get a awful feeling in the pit of my stomach. My question is after surgery is it still there? I haven't had surgery yet and this crossed my mind
  12. Was it a regular Gatorade or a sf one? Sounds like a good idea to get in all your electrolytes.
  13. Yeah, 20 grams of protein doesn't sound right. Perhaps you should call your doctors office to make sure you didn't misunderstand. Just double check.
  14. I make a minestrone soup. Purée it and love how the flavor is concentrated. I am thinking of adding a scoop of unjury unflavored protein to it next time.
  15. My surgery is in October. I haven't talked to Dr. yet but I don't want one. Fifteen years ago I had an appendix burst on me, they put in a drain, I was in the hospital six weeks with drain and it was the only thing painful. It hurt coming out and to this day I can touch the spot it was at and I get weak.
  16. HEB

HEB is a grocery store chain in Texas, I think.
