  1. I'm scheduled for Aug. 20th. I go tomorrow to finish up all the loose ends.
  2. Let me introduce myself, My name is Melanie. I'm scheduled for surgery for Aug. 20th. My good friend & co-worker (not to forget my rock during all of this) is scheduled for Aug. 21st. I'm anxious for the transformation to begin :wink2:, but I find myself on the emotional rollercoaster. Is this normal? My last experience with rapid weight loss was during my twenties & the PhenPhen phase. I lost 125 lbs and was within my "ideal weight range" but I looked too skinny & bones showing. :scared2: Needless to say, I did it all for the wrong reasons & was not happy. Here is my problem ... If I'm not hungry .... I won't eat! That is what scares me the most about going this lap-band procedure and looking "too boney" I begin my 2 wk pre-op diet on Aug6. Any advice as I struggle to look past my past?
