  2. I am five weeks post opp, and I went to Dr today for my follow up. Since 6-11-13 I have lost 32.2 lbs since then. But I must admit I was a little sad because I only lost 9 pounds since my last appointment which was three weeks ago. I know 9 lbs is good but I wish it was more. It made me more determined to work harder.

  7. So I came across this recipe for ranch dressing using cottage cheese. Take 1cup of ffcottage cheese,1/4 cup of water and 3-4 tps of hidden valley ranch seasoning packet. Blend very well you can add more water if you want to thin it out. It is so yummy and packed with protein.

  10. I have a question it may be dumb but I have to ask. I get hungry about everything 2-3 hours is this normal? Am I not eating enough? I'm almost 4 weeks post opp. Also my left side is still a little tender is this normal? I don't go to the doctor until the 17th.

  12. I am 3 weeks post op and I still can't sleep on my stomach. I get my best sleep on my stomach.

  14. It's normal. I'm 2 weeks post op. I cried a the hospital 30 minutes before surgery. But now I feel great and look forward to living healthy
  15. I ate Wendy's chili only a half a cup but sooo great. Plus it's packed with protein and it is not greasy
  16. I am so happy I went for my post opp appointment today, I have lost 15.9 lbs since surgery on 6-11-13. I got my staples out and my drain tube. I feel normal can't wait to eat my egg!!!
  17. You could also try rocking back and forth. Sitting on the toilet seat trying to push a bit.

  22. Help!!! My husband made me some grits and they were little thick and it feels stuck in my throat what do I do?
  23. Success! !!! Today. I feel so much better today not really sore, JP drain. Is looking clear, gas is coming out and my intestines finally woke up. Tmi. Sorry. 6Days after surgery and I feel almost normal again.
  24. I'm still sore also. I think the worst time is when I have been sitting or laying down for a long period of time. I want this gas to go away NOW.
  25. @yocofleet I hope things get better I pray that God gives you the strength to endure. I'm here if you want to talk or vent.
