  1. I'm 5'10" too...I had a hard time meeting the bmi requirement at first....as if obese was any better than morbidly obese...the denial my brain was in for awhile was pretty bad.

  4. Mind's really considerate. He does most of the cleaning, although I often have to clean after him and he cooks if I ask him. I think it's because he was raised by three sisters! Lol.

Not after this surgery( had a hysterectomy in 08), but my period was screwed up for about four months after my heart surgery in 2000... my obgyn said it was because I had stressed my body or rather that it had been " insulted" by being operated on. Mine evened out but it was a pain in the butt.

  8. It took them six months to deny me the first time, three months the second denial. I appealed, got an advocate....etc.went to hearing and wad approved three months later...took a little over two years for the whole thing.This was awhile ago though. I think they're quicker now.

  12. I got sick at about the same time because I was introducing new foods..I backed off to liquids for two days then started introducing foods slowly. It does get better. I'm six weeks out tomorrow and I feel totally different.I'm sorry you're not feeling well...but hang in there!

  14. I had a much harder time with purees than with liquids...just hang in there.you'll be on soft foods soon. I pureed salsa into everything and ate a lot of hummus...anything for flavor. You can do it!
  15. My hubby made me welcome home dinner...spaghetti with hfcs sauce, garlic bread and pasta...lol...he tried so hard but I had to pass.
  16. If you're exercising to the best of your ability, eating right, etc. you're doing what you can. Angry? Aren't the doctor's supposed to be part of our support system?
  17. My insurance won't even look at pannier removal until weight is lost and stable for two years. Then they may pay for it if medically neccessary.
  18. Hummus made with protein powder and low fat Greek yogurt...we'll. See how flavorless the protein really is.
