  1. What is your stage 3?
  2. April 25th and I'll have him look at it then. I was hoping it would go away or that it's a common site for soreness with others. Wishful thinking. I shouldn't have thrown my leg out and tried to get up like that. Oh well, it was a panicked reaction!
  3. And the darn cat was perfectly fine when I limped in there holding my stomach. Apparently he just decided to lose his damn mind for no reason
  4. Okay, is anyone else sore? I'm super sore right at my belly button. I'm worried I've got a hernia or something there. Also, how many had their surgeon send home a binder or have bought a binder? Did it help at all? I think one would. If you do have a binder, what brand? If you bought one, where?
  5. I'm required to walk 25-45 minutes a day but that's all I've been cleared for. I'm not up to 45 minutes yet. Makes me feel ill. It's back to work on Monday, I work full time and only had 3 weeks off, but the notion remains the same. Calories in and calories out is dietician 101. You would think it would take more to run my body than the 500 calories I manage to choke down. If that. In my opinion.
  6. I hope so. I've only lost 12 since surgery. It seems like a lot...but not when you consider what I've been able to eat...which is like..nothing lol
  7. Sigh, I'm 15 days out and I haven't lost anything in 5 days. What the heck? Is that normal?
  8. Are you eating too much?
  9. 1 oz of Cottage Cheese
  10. It wasn't that bad. My surgeon seems to have a thing for them. I had one before I left the hospital.
  11. Ohhh, I have some joico and I hate it! It made my hair dry! I have the purple stuff that supposedly keeps you from being brassy and the kpak stuff. I do LOVE the K-Pak straightening Iron. It's pretty amazing. I had to replace it once already though.
  12. 4.1.13, and that's why I'm not losing it yet. I will though, I'm sure.
  13. :sigh: I had to use suppositories. Gasx on one end and the other on the other. It worked though!
  14. Bedhead Resurrection. My mister is a barber so I get to shop at the salon houses. I love it. I'm not losing my hair yet, so I don't know if it helps with that. Mine is chemically damaged right now.
  15. Agreed. Call your surgeon. I have regular BMs now...but have to use stool softener.
  16. pfft, sounds like your coworker was being a bi%%h. She knows the trials you've gone through and needed to feel better by making you feel bad. It happens. Next time just be like, OMG. I was JUST thinking the same about you! Or ignore it. You know you haven't gained and you said she HAS. Jealousy.
  17. Ugh tho, your surgery wasn't that long ago. How can you possibly get that many calories in?! Maybe...I don't know.
  18. Nope. No blue ice chips. No drain bag....I don't know how he did a leak test. Is nausea normal? Do ya'll have it? Today has been my first VERY bad day.
  19. I didn't have a leak test or a swallow test. It knd of freaks me out when others mention it. I had my first major nausea. I ate an egg with cheese. Just 3 bites and knew it was bad. Didn't throw it all up...but it was. Bad. I'm having problems with protein too. I'm trying not to get...I don't know
  20. Good gravy no. Borrow the fit test from insanity or try to find it online before you waste your money. I tried it before surgery and almost died. My husband, a normal sized fit guy, couldn't do it either. P90x is way more achievable and a few of the other beach body workouts.
  21. Oops sorry double post
  22. There isn't an answer to that. Either your skin is elastic or it's not. Ask your surgeon what he thinks. I know I'll need an arm and boob job. My arms already feel like Jello and that skin isn't bouncing back--I don't think. But yeah, your age could help, genetics could help. But skin only stretches so far and comes back. If you stretched it past the point of no return it will turn into loose skin. It's not just people that have WLS that have it. If you rally really hard and lose all that weight, you'd have it if your skin was past it's point too. But really, no way was I getting back to a size 10 on my own. So I wouldn't have had to deal with it. Now I might have to. I REALLY HOPE I DO. And honestly, would you rather have loose skin you can tuck in a girdle or fat filled skin? You still have the same amount.
  23. I had 1 oz of small curd cottage cheese, mashed and well chewed. I almost at the whole thing. I haven't been hungry since surgery and find the cooking smells in the house make me sick.
  24. right after surgery?
