  3. Congratulations! It is so wonderful to see the pant sizes dropping. I had my surgery 7 weeks ago and have went from a 18 to a 12. It still seems so unreal! But, two years ago I wore a 24. I went through a divorce and lost down to a size 18. But, that's where I stayed for almost 2 years until I had surgery. I honestly believe I will always think of myself as the girl in the size 24 pants no matter what. It is a hard journey but so worth it!!!
  4. You look great! So proud of you!
  5. That is so amazing! Congratulations!

  7. Thanks so much for the comments! I've been consuming only liquids for the past two days. But, there are times I cannot keep those down either. I am calling my surgeon tomorrow for sure!
  8. Thank you so much for your advice! I am so thankful for this surgery, but it is a lot of work! ???? I want to do everything right!
  9. It seems like half of the time I eat, I end up vomiting. I have a horrible gurgling like feeling whenever I eat or drink. It seems like I have a lot of pain in the esophageal area after I eat also. Any suggestions? I am so frustrated. I am 5 and 1/2 weeks post-op. I had hoped that things would be easier than this!

  15. I plan on going back to work 2 weeks after my surgery which will be on March 14th. However, I have very little energy and I am so worried about being able to hold up for 12 hour shifts on my feet. I am a registered nurse. I have an appointment with my surgeon on Tuesday. I will wait and see what he says. I hope my energy returns soon!
  16. I am 9 days post-op and I am having so much problems with the full liquid diet. I know I am not consuming the adequate amount of intake. I feel so tired and icky. I hope starting on puree food next week will help. I've never wanted mashed potatoes so badly in my laugh! Haha. I got back to work at the end of the week if my surgeon releases me. I am so hoping that the upgrade in diet will make a difference!
  17. I am currently 3 days post op for a gastric bypass. I am in so much pain when I get up and down from bed or a chair. I have the worse stabbing pain to my left side. I've always credited myself with a high pain threshold, but this has been really rough. I just keep telling myself it will get better and will be worth it in the end!
  18. I am having surgery on Feb.27th! I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life!
  19. I am from Tennessee and will be having my surgery on Feb. 27th! I am so excited!
