  8. Don't worry about the scale bc right now you will stop Water weight and inches off , no one can tell you precisely how long bc everyone is different . I lost 22 lbs while at the hospital post op, I had gb 1-21-13 weighed 368 and now I'm 329 and a month and 11 days post op .... Just focus on getting better and the weight will drop off on its own ..... You can do it stay positive and keep moving around so gas pain and the incision site will take time to heal so just take one step at a time living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  9. That's really fast , just make sure to liquidify it to a tee...I had mine done Jan 21 and I'm still on liquids and puree was just add last week but now back to liquids so just take your time living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  10. Of Feb? Wow that's fast but each doctor and nutritionist have different steps and guidelines , just make sure to puree and liquidify everything thoroughly..... living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  11. My doctor says that I doesn't damage your pouch but just means your body is.t ready for soft or puree food or the beans aren't agreeing with you and to try another time, when did you have surgery? Refried beans I was told make sure to liquidify it to the max like runny but what good would that be ? living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  12. I was in the hospital and that's the reason you go to a hospital isn't it ? Yes, it made me sick I thought it was clear and the nutritionist I use just cleared me for it ,few days prior but I just tried it Monday and it didn't sit well and landed me in hospital until this morning.... living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  13. I am looking for myself and my friend , is there any affordable nutritionist that does not just print things off the internet and collect their pay when checking in and knows what they are doing...I am having second thoughts on the one I use and my friend is 7+ Yeats post op so we both are looking for a good effective and experienced educated nutritionist....if I have to pay you for information that I could have printed off myself then I'll save both of us money and time, how long do you have to keep going to them ? I'm a month and few days out so it's important to me any suggestions???? living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  14. Yes , it did living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  15. Okay thanks yeah I just wanted to know in general , I have a few friends 7+ years post off but their doctor and nutritionist allowed them to eat regular food within a month and I'm a month and 7 days post op and once again back on liquid bc my body didn't agree with the soft foods yet .....Thanks for the input living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  16. Yes I do make it myself I was asking in case I am out and about and don't plan to be home .... Girl I can cook I was just asking a question that wasn't hard to answer so I know what exactly liquidify meant if I were to eat out which chances are I'm not just one of those random questions that would be good to know if I need to .. living4myself_gb1-21-13:
  17. Yay I go home too and that's what happened to me but he didn't say strictures but I can't hold anything down and o just got the privilege to get soft pureed liquid food last week but back to full liquids only for another week this sucks I was happy to eat baby food or chilli. now I'm stuck on liquids again , its driving me awol but hope u feel better too I been here since Monday .... living4myself_gb1-21-13:
