  11. Glad to see others from K January! I had Gastric Bypass on the 23rd Started at 339...am at 311...and that hasn't changed for a few days So my first plateau!

  14. My doc said there may be some drainage...some blood that should look like Hawaiian punch consistency or ice tea coloring
  15. I had a drain in the hospital I heard all sorts of stories and was worried when they took it out Didn't hurt a bit coming out
  16. I had to do this for Aetna I went up then down....total loss at end was only 8lbs
  17. I had to do a 2 week "liver shrinking" diet prior to surgery. My surgeon explained that it reduces the amount of manipulation of the liver during surgery. It was a 2protein shake and then meal with 4oz protein and vegies I like the chocolate ensure high protein shake the best. It also helped me to be mentally ready for the diet after the surgery....it wasn't an abrupt change. I'm 2 1/2 weeks out...so far so good
