I went to the Symphony the other night and while I hadn't been to that auditorium in a REALLY long time, I purposefully bought an aisle seat so I wouldn't be as self conscious, I sat down and almost screamed with delight because it wasn't tight! I have a long way to go, but the show was a dream come true and coupled with that? Awesome!

Hello all amazing people! I agree with everyone that it has taken some time to get on the new site. I just recently became a resident of Onederland! Which is amazingly exciting for me! We went on a roadtrip to Washington DC this past weekend because some of his friends were running the marine corps marathon. I was able to walk around the city without complaint. AND it has reaffirmed that my ultimate goal is to run a marathon. The surgery has not made me happier. My decision that I was worth it has made me happier!

Surgery date 2-11-13 beginning weight 244 current weight 146. 98 pounds down. Woohoo waiting on the 100 mark. The Doc wants me low 130s it's a slow go. Exercise daily 1 hour. Never felt better. Did my first 5k this past Saturday in 37.22 minutes. This is huge for me. Yes would love to be able to carve off all the excess and if I could my arms would be first. They are disgusting. But I doubt I would be able to have any of it due to cost. I don't post much but keep up with this thread always. Happy Zlosing everyone!!

Totally off topic...but I scored a $280 cashmere/ wool sweater for $$50. It's a large, and bulky, so I think I'll be able to wear it for a long time with jeggings...oh yeah, I can wear leggings and skinny jeans without scaring people!

Completed day one of couch to 5k workout. I was able to run and complete the whole thing. This would have never happened before surgery. I would have given up after the first bit of running!

I went on a date with an adorable and charming man who told me I'm beautiful, not cute, not nice smile, not great personality, BEAUTIFUL....other than my son, I believe that's the first time I've ever heard that.

So one of the neighbors several houses away walked up behind me in the driveway as I was talking to my husband. When I turned around he gasped and said I thought Tim had got divorced because I kept seeing this skinny, young chick down here. Didn't realize the hot chick was you. Made me laugh--my husband said no I've had her for 35 years and the hot chick is all mine!
