I'm one month post tomorrow.... 42# lost!!!

Saw my Nut & surgeon today.... They both said I'm doing well .... Right on track.....

I haven't received anything either

The stuff drs use to "clean you out" is go-lyte-ly

Somebody help me. I'm 3 weeks 4 days post op and my left side and back are still killing me. My doctor said it was because of the big stitch on the inside in the left where they did most if the work and when it dissolves (4-6 weeks) the pain will go away. Now yesterday my stomach is hurting worse but differently. Not only do I have the pain on my left side now I'm severely cramping like as if I had menstrual cramps or diarrhea. I don't have either. I am so sick of hurting. I am getting severely depressed.

Have you tried a heating pad or rice/corn bag?!? Warm "moist" heat might help if its muscle healing pain

Finally I get. To go home today my heart is still Not beating regular but better my surgery iS great trouble with Protein nausea and no pain as long as I don't bend or twist so I'm ready to see weight Friday at dr. Dr told me because of all IV fluids it might be higher so not to worry

I gained 7 lbs of Fluid ;(

1/2 of Wendy's sm chili with 1/4 c cottage cheese (instead of sour cream) Yummy

So after recovery and I'm back to my room like 6 nurses all rushed in my room because my heart rate dropped to 30 I had told them when I had my gallbladder out that it did this and my blood pressure ran low but like 40 s 50-60 is normal for me so all that was fine fri morning I was up walking eating broth and Popsicle Jello not nausea and not to much pain But after my 3 td walk my heart started agin skipping and my heart rate was like 138 so they called my surgeon and cardiac and moved me to regent care they said my magnesium was low and had to give me some and other cardiac med to get it regular my surgeon came and I told him I had did so good not sick or pain I was spost to go home but know not sure when to they make sure about my heart There doing another Ecocadogram today and then see but a least my heart rate is down

I had mine too!!! [] I wasn't allowed to wear underwear/ tampon into Surg because they insert Foley catheter ..... But the next day the aide helped me to bathroom to put on pad & underwear..... There should be a "chuck pad" under you to catch leakage!!!

My highest weight in 9/10 was 406 [] I tried weight watchers.... Got down to 380 and with work, life just kinda lingered there... I met with my Surg in 12/10.... Because of a job promotion everything came to a screeching halt because of the traineeship... Remet with dr the summer of 2012 & scheduled my surg for 1/29/13!!! At day of preop appt I was 378.9... I had to do a 2 week preop diet and weighed in at 358.7 on surgery date .... I gained 7 lbs of Water at hospital... Today I am 8 days post and weighed in @ 346.7!!!!! So after all that..... (Sorry but thanks for keeping up) I also have nearly 200 to lose!!!!

Just stay with it!!!! Stay on track .... FOCUSED

I had to postpone mine for a year..... But stay positive girl.... It'll happen!!!
