  1. This week my stepdaughter told me she had a surprise for me. So she runs upstairs and grabs a pair of her size 10 jeans, runs back down and was like try them on! I said I don't think these will fit they are just too tiny. She kept saying try them on, you don't see that you really are that small so I hop in the bathroom thinking there is no way they will even fit around my thigh.....and then they did and they zipped and buttoned with no problems! She even gave them to me HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  2. How far out are you? It definitely gets better. You can always give your surgeon a call and see what they recommend. HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  3. Pretty normal to hit stalls. Just keep doing what you should and it will start moving off again. Hang in there. I know it's frustrating. HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  4. I have the same problem with chicken. Now I cut every last bit of anything off it before cooking. Such a waste sometimes. HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  5. Tonight a cabbage, cashew, & chicken salad! sounds delicious...hope the pouch agrees! HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  6. I had problems after surgery with cold temperatures that I used to love! I had to switch to hot tea for about a month. I am now over 4 months out and once again love my ice cold water! HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13
  7. Hope you are doing well! HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13

  10. I still drink protein shake for breakfast and either one for lunch or as a snack. It's the only way I can get the amount of protein in that my body needs to drop the weight. Great job on your loss! You can add me on MFP I'm KRaney73 HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  11. I get in around 90 ounces. Fluids are good. It's just a heat thing. :/ HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  12. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue? When I get too hot I start to feel extremely nauseous. I have delayed starting a workout regimen because of this. It's not just once in awhile, it is literally anytime I feel hot. It happens even when i am in an air conditioned area. Did anyone else have this problem? If so did anything help you out? I am four months out. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  13. Mine was 3/14. When I do eat the dreamfields I only have maybe 6-8 pieces of penne. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  14. I take anti depressants as well. As far as right after surgery I was really bad at taking my pills. Once I got through some surgery complications and took them regularly I felt much better. I have actually decreased the amount of Trazadone I take, as well as came off of Wellbutrin all together. I am about 4 1/2 months out just to give you an idea. Hang in there. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  15. I went on vacation the beginning of July and had the same issue. I dropped the weight in just a few days as soon as I got back to my Protein, Water, water, water regimen! I'm sure it will be gone in no time. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  16. I am wishing you the best on your surgery day. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  17. I use Dreamfields pasta. I make a mean Cajun Chicken Penne. I can't eat much of it, but it satisfies the craving and sits well in my pouch. HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13
  18. Wow, I fit in a size 8 today. I still don't see myself as being smaller. My head has definitely not caught up to the loss that I've had. I thought for sure I would never have that problem. Anyone else experiencing this? HW 229, SW 214, CW 162 RNY 3/14/13

  20. My doctor recommends for his patients to be at 1000-1200 calories this far out. I mostly get in between 600-800. I just can't seem to eat that much. I do get my protein in 80-90 grams a day and less than 15 carbs a day. Hope that helps. Every doctor is different though so I would check with yours or your nutritionist.
  21. Oops I just saw that I put down I am taking 200mg a night! Lol! I am taking only a 100!
  22. I was weaned off Wellbutrin xl as well. The lower dose of trazadone that I take still knocks me out like a light! It also keeps me asleep all night. After surgery I went back to my original dose and was basically asleep for 12+hours! I also have had trouble sleeping for over four years and been on trazadone that entire time. Now some nights I can even fall asleep without it. Just make sure you talk to your prescribing physician about your dosage after surgery. Good luck I'm sure everything will work out.
  23. I take Prozac and trazadone and haven't had an issue with either one. Except for decreasing my trazadone dose by more than half that is. I was taking 250mg now taking 200mh and sleeping through the night.
