  1. Good luck to you!
  2. I'm on pureeds. One week out. This recipe is a little advanced for me yet.
  3. Where can I find that recipe. I so want it!
  4. I just put the soup, water, and a big scoop of yogurt. Was actually really good, had it again today!! I only measure the portion right before I eat it.
  5. Glad you have it figured out! I called the dr too, and said what I was feeling was normal, so I guess I just wait it out for awhile yet. Hope you feel better soon!
  6. Hello! Glad you are back home! What was the complication, if you don't mind? I'm still sore on the left side from one surgery, so I feel for you, that you had to have two! Hope things to continue to look up for you each day!
  7. Oh my! Hope you get some relief! Please keep me posted. I will Definately be calling the Dr!
  8. I have the exact same thing! Feels almost like a tight cramp. I can feels bulge to the left of the incision. I am going to call the surgeon tomorrow and see if I should have this bulge. It is even tender to touch. My insicion is healed and no redness anywhere. I do have the scar tissue hard lump right under the insicion, but this is more to the left. I know they did all the work through this hole. I had no pain on Thursday, and then bam! Couldn't even sit yesterday, had to lie in recliner, all the way back. Please please let me know what you find out! Good luck to you!
  9. Yes I can. I bought some but haven't had it. I did have split pea yesterday. I pureed it with Greek yogurt to add protein and it was so good I added the unflavored to cream of wheat and I could taste it. Ill have to try it in soup tomorrow. I found that the Chike brand of protein isn't too sweet for me and you mix it with only alittle Water or milk, so its a lot of protein without a big drink!
  10. For lunch I had some split pea soup, pureed with some Greek yogurt. Was very good and filling!
  11. So yesterday, I had hardly any pain and today my left side is causing me a lot of pain. Is very frustrating, as I just wanna be able to go, go, go. I am only comfortable reclining all the way back in recliner or laying on right side. I had bowel movement this am, so don't think its that. It's also not the incision, as that is healed already. Am hoping this goes away soon!
  12. Had a scrambled egg, with a little shredded cheese. I added a bit of juice from my husbands fresh pico de gallo. Not sure the egg is sitting well right now, but sure was tasty! It is sooo weird being full on one little egg!
  13. I thought eating would be a lot harder. Small bites and good chewing just happens, I think because I am a little leary yet about it. The hardest for me if figuring good meal choices for the most protein. I eat a lot of cottage cheese, which I love and Greek yogurt. I'm fine with these things now, as I am afraid of doing damage to things since it hasnt been a week yet. It is actually going rather smoothly, and today, I had very little left side pain. Getting better everyday!
  14. Cottage cheese with a little chicken deli meat and mashed avocado. Was very good!
  15. OMG! I haven't since surgery! Forgot to put them in pill container! Thanks so much!
  16. What is there in pickles that makes us crave them. I am not a huge pickle fan, but today, I just couldn't stop thinking about them! I made some tuna salad and used some of the pickle (the soft part) in it. It was great!
