  1. Best of luck to the people who have surgeries tomorrow! Keep us posted!
  2. Had my pre op today! No special diet before surgery, just liquids for half a day. No bowel cleanse either. I have it pretty good compared to some. Just have to eat healthy as I have been. I am super excited now and wish it was tomorrow!
  3. I agree! I also checked out every bypass book our small library had! I've been an RNY addict on the internet! Think I am very well informed and ready to go! Bring on the 22nd!
  4. Glad it is over but sorry you are having troubles! As far as the soreness, I think it is safe to say that everyone's so different. Our other April 1st girl is having no trouble. Get well soon and keep us updated!

  11. He is abusive to the family, and it is up to you now to protect your children. As adults, we need to do whatever we can to protect any child. When I read this, I am sick to my stomach with what your poor children are going through. It is a situation that you really should get out off for everyone's well being!
  12. At least you know what it is! Good luck with the sleep!
  13. I am hoping that our April 1st'ers are doing great today. Very excited to see some posts when they are feeling well enough! Fingers crossed for no pain and great success!
  14. Could be that you cough when laying down due to postnasal drip. Do you have runny nose, congestion etc? I hope you get some relief soon. It is no fun not being able to sleep! If I were you, I would start with regular doctor.

  16. Thanks so much for doing the updating. Haven't felt the greatest and am on good pain meds which makes it hard! You can take it over if you want!
  17. I gave up caffeine at the very beginning of my appts. 6 months ago. I was addicted and figured that if I gave it up right away, I would have an easier time later on. I drink crystal light now. Have had a few drinks of soda and found that I don't miss it. I also haven't had any alcohol in about 3 months. I was a pretty big drinker on weekends, so I thought it would be better if I cut that out as well.
  18. Last weigh in went great. Got some questions answered. My information will be submitted by Friday, and the nurse told me to call them within a week to get them moving! Hopefully there won't be a delay, as my surgery is on the 22nd. Sorry for the delay in updating the surgery list. I haven't felt the greatest with pain and pain meds. Will do tomorrow! For all of you April 1st gals, it is soooooo close!
