I'm not nervous yet, but I have Pre-op tests on Wednesday and I bet I'll be nervous after that! . I'm taking two weeks off work, but I don't have to do any lifting, so I think I should be okay.

I've been treated for major depression since 1999. However, I've been pretty stable for the last few months with my meds. I was approved for surgery and my psychiatrist is on board with it. My surgery is scheduled for April 8th. Good luck to you!

Trying to wean myself off the caffeine a few days before my Pre-op diet starts...I don't want to go cold turkey and have to deal with that crazy withdrawal headache! Gotta find some decaf--I miss my coffee.

Medicare

I got Pre-registered at the hospital today and paid my $1,200 co-pay (ouch!) they said everything is a go for April 8th. I managed to start back on my exercise routine today too....I had been slacking. The Celebrate vitamins I ordered came today. I got the chewable multi, calcium, and iron. I already have some sub-lingual b-12 from my PCP. I also got my tubs of Syntrax Nectar protein powder for the 2-week clear liquid stage post-op--fuzzy navel and twisted cherry flavors. getting everything ready makes me less anxious.
