    Trying some eggs (egg beaters) for the first time since surgery scrambled with some fresh salsa and a tiny bit of sautéed spinach. fingers crossed it sits well in the pouch!

    I'm in the same spot you are. My guess is it's part of the grieving process for losing our close friend, food. The psychologist can help you work through it. I don't feel much like eating or working out at all. I'm just laying around the house and sleeping a lot feeling sorry for myself.

    I bought a roasted chicken and pulled some of the meat off that and tossed it in my mini cuisinart. I puréed it with spoon of mayo, a spoon of Greek yogurt, a tablespoon of dill pickle and a whole lot of dried dill weed. Salt and pepper. My pouch tolerated it really well.

    It doesn't hurt me or anything but I'm sick to death of it. I've started drinking just plain water now.

    Glad your infection has cleared up! I was on liquids for three weeks too. Now I'm on puréed for three weeks. I made a puréed chicken salad that was pretty good--still eating lots of soups though. I can't wait till I can eat some shrimp with sautéed veggies!

    I'm on week five now and I'm down 17 lbs from Right before surgery. I'm not counting the water weight I gained in the hospital. I am also a slow loser

    That sounds normal until you figure out what will and won't bother your pouch. I usually eat 1/2 cup at a time though. My pouch seems bigger than some people's.

    It's Kraft so you might not like it. I'm not too picky about my mayo.

    2 oz chicken breast with some pureed southwestern black bean soup over top as sauce and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Yummy!

    I have used the olive oil mayo with no probs.
