  1. I feel like I don't get many bites before I get the discomfort and burping sensation. Will I ever be able to bit into food and enjoy it like before. Or will this be forever. Having two bites, chewing 50x and then oh I'm full.
  2. Could I eat turkey meatballs made in a slow cooker (I'm on the soft foods stage)
  3. Well I had started soft foods but its uncomfortable every time I eat. So I went back to liquids. It's so uncomfortable I don't want to eat for a while. I haven't asked my doctor anything since I won't see him again till the 15th. Did the constant burping happen with you. Every time I drink Water it hurts or feels uncomfortable like it wants to come back up.

  5. Im going to be a month out on the16th. I'm overwhelmed and I'm having buyers remorse. I new it was going to be tough but emotionally I don't think I was ready. I keep burping and with every burp I feel nauseated. I was fine up until two days ago. I want to cry so bad! This might sound like a dumb question but is this reversible?
  6. Lucky you! I still have two weeks of soft foods. Quick question. Does anyone have regrets about the surgery? Eating is so uncomfortable and I don't enjoy it. Ugh!
  7. I also had to do them for 10 days though
  8. I was the 16th and I have no pain at all. It was harder for me to do the liquid diet. Thank god I'm now onto the soft foods. But it's still limiting, I don't know of any good recipes.
  9. I'm with you. Still on liquids myself.
  10. I called the on call nurse to double check and since I'm not taking any meds I'm able to take liquid form over the counter meds. I'm relieved! I hope i get over it asap. Hope you feel better
