  1. Wow. How did you lose 90lbs in 8 weeks? Was some of it lost pre op? You are doing awesome! Congratulations
  2. I agree 100% with you about the crab legs. They're steamed and if you don't use the butter it's very low fat and delicious!
  3. Sounds like everyone is losing their insulation. Lol
  4. I had my gallbladder out ten years ago. (I'm still pre op for the rny) You'll be back on your feet soon and feeling so much better.
  5. I can't wait until I can lay in a hammock.
  6. That's awesome weight loss! I hope I have those kinds of results.
  7. I had steamed broccoli and salmon.
  8. I just learned today that I don't have to do the liquid diet before surgery. Really happy about that. So I still have a couple of months to lose 8 more pounds. I know it sounds easy, and I know I can do it, but I just don't know if I can keep it off until surgery.
  9. I am hoping to have my surgery around April or May. I am still hoping it will be sooner. I have already lost 7 of the 15 pounds I'm required to lose pre op. How's it going for you Renee?
  10. I would like to see a group of people who are working toward a really big weight loss goal with us Renee. I guess we'll just support each other
  11. That's how much I need to lose and I was wondering if anyone out there has accomplished this.
  12. Congratulations! Get lots of sleep and don't forget to walk as much as you can. All the best to you!
  13. First, your baby is BEAUTIFUL! Secondly I'm also preop and nervous. I don't have a surgery date yet though I can't wait to be healthy with lots of energy. Just think of all of the wonderful things you'll be able to do with your baby. As far as everyone else and their comments, let them eat their words when you're thinner and happy!
  14. That is terrific! Congrats! Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  15. That sounds phenomenal. I'm in Ohio and its currently 13 degrees outside, so I'll have to do it in the oven. Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  16. I want to ride a bike on one of the trails near my house. I haven't rode a bike in twenty years! Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  17. Hey Tash, I'm in Ohio. This waiting for a surgery date is driving me crazy. I just know when I do get it I'm going to count the days. Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  18. Hi Natasha, I don't live in MI but I just wanted to congratulate you in getting a surgery date. I am hoping to get mine soon as well. We weigh almost the same so hopefully we will be losing together. All the best to you! Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  19. Milly, thank you SO much for that. I can't tell you how much that helps me! Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  20. I chose the most expensive Aetna plan from my employer. It's Aetna choice II. Does anyone else have this? How long did preop testing take? Does it matter that I'm not required to have a pcp? Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  21. Anytime, that's what we're all here for. By the way, your pic with your son is absolutely adorable. Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
  22. I have heard "Have you really put forth the effort to lose weight on your own?" No, I just want to have surgery for kicks and giggles! Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey.
