I was banded in oct 2010 had RNY jan 2013 pre band I was 348 7 months post RNY 225 and the family says that's enough but I want to see 199 just once in my life and think I can do it the weight loss has slowed down in the past few weeks but I could care less about food and have to make my self eat so I want to keep going but everyone around me say to stop what should I do ???

  13. Take it from a guy who have 5 band surgey due to comps do the RNY hade me in jan and it was the decision I ever made down to 235 from 348 with no problems only had a couple bouts with dumping and it no fun but worth it in the end good luck to you hope this helps
  14. Check your blood sugar I'm having a hard time with mine bottoming out with that feeling
  15. Most dr I talked to would not do band to sleeve only bypass because of the scare tissues from the band they said I would be at a greater risk of a leak
  16. Yes I had my removed and bypass done on December 31 no problems the weight is a little slow coming off but it coming 30lbs so far down to 259 but I was told the revision lose slower has any one else heard that

  19. Yea you maybe right dr say to eat 5 times a day but just can't do it right now thanks for the advice
  20. I had revision from the band to bypass 4 weeks ago and it went great but I have only lost about 12lbs and I just think that I should have lost more I only eating about 400 to 500 calories a day so what is going on
  21. I standing in your shoes 3weeks ago but just know that it will be worth it my revision went very well and I didn't think it was as bad as when I had the lap band I am still having problems with drinking enough but other then that feel great so good luck and God bless
  22. I had my revision on the 31of Dec even after the surgery I second guess it my self but now almost 3weeks out I think it was the decision I have made just do what the Dr tells you and it will be worth it best of luck to you
