  1. I've done that too... Just protein drinks one day. I've also started drinking protein drink before and after excersise. I recently added leg weights which I use for leg excersises and ab work. Mostly I just walk between 2-5 miles every other day. Seems on the days I walk, I gain weight the next day.. go figure.
  2. Im 3 1/2 months 59.1 lbs
  3. It was the week before I think
  4. How many gms of protein do you get? Up your protein, increase your fluids, increase or change up your exercise.
  5. New bra size 38DD... Was a 42DD
  6. How wonderful... He's awesome. I had a wonderful experience. I'm happy to answer any questions for you. Just send me a private message if you like.
  7. Thanks all had tea this morning and started to feel a bit better. Made some homemade soup and had two frozen yogurt bars. Not a good protein day but just want to feel better. Busy week and its just cold damp and wet here. Hoping I don't need to see the doc and it will go away on its own... Thank you thank you!!!!
  8. I had dr o'malley. Surgery was 2/26/13 and I'm down 58.7 lbs. it was the easiest surgery I ever had and I'm so happy. Good luck to all!!
  9. That's a great weight loss! Not everyone is the same and it depends on how much you have to loose. Be proud of yourself and follow the plan. I was at the same amount as you and now I'm three months out 58 lbs gone. You should measure yourself so that the weeks you have low weight loss you can see if you loose inches. Also when is the last time you lost 21 lbs in 4 weeks? Good luck!
  10. It does get better... Your still healing. It does help to be planful and eat at the same time each day. Set the alarm on your phone as s reminder. Good luck
  11. So went to bed with s slight sore throat.... Woke up with the worst sore throat I can remember in a long time plus fever and slight ear ache... Suggestions appreciated since I haven't been sick since my surgery. Cold med recommendations welcome!!!! ????
  12. I'm guilty of weighing in every day. I don't care what people say about the whole once a week thing. Not weighing myself is how I got myself in trouble by denying that I was gaining. Weighing myself every day keeps me on track. If I gain a pound I force myself to work harder. I admit there are days I wish the scale would move but on the weeks it doesn't move at all I measure myself. I strongly encourage you to get a tape measure. The inches you loose will boost your morale on those time you don't loose weight. Oh and this is just works best for me .. You need to find what works best for you! Best of luck to you and us all!!!
  13. I agree. I barely had any pain and wished I had done it long ago. I didn't need anything more than Tylenol. Everyone is different and if you have never had surgery before I'm sure it seem awful. I've had 4 abdominal surgeries and for me this was easy... Back to work 2 weeks. Take the meds if you need them.
  14. The begining is hard. Momma is right just sip all day long. It will get better in a few weeks. I remember I had more phone programed to remind me to eat and dring (i still do this) and I would just be finishing one shake and need to start the next. Remember that shakes count as a liquid too... Good Luck on your journey... its going to be spectacular!
  15. It will go fast... ask them to put you on a cancellation list/waiting list. Good Luck!
  16. It wasn't for me... I was still on soft foods at that point... check your menu provided by the doctor
  17. I think I'm just having a bad day and I already know the answer to my statement but here I go anyways to my February Team Mates. I lost five lbs in the last 4 weeks and I just really want it to be more... I feel like I'm whining but I just want to at least loose 2 lbs a week. I'm doing what I need to do... changing up my workout... increased good calories and protein, making sure I get enough water. I'm just frustrated. I know that this is the most weight I have lost in the shortest amount of time..yada yada yada.... I'm not 25 I'm 50 and it's harder.... Just having one of those days.. And to top it off one of my neighbors, who I decided to tell I had surgery after the fact has just lost 13 lbs (I think she weighs 120 pounds), said to me over the weekend, after I congratulated her on her weight loss, "see it can be done with diet and exercise". This is why I didn't want to tell anyone.. ugh! Ok rant over... I will continue on my path of healthy living and know that I made the right choice!!!
