  1. I'm thinking I might try salad today. I'm feeling adventurous.
  2. Fever indicates an infection of some kind. They should be giving you antibiotics. Sorry you are going through this, but you're in the best place to get it taken care of!
  3. And it's not too much sugar with the apples and strawberries?
  4. Out for dinner tonight, just ordered baked scrod with mashed taters and broccoli.
  5. It's weird. It has a mind of its own lol
  6. Had most of a shake this morning for breakfast, ended up dumping the rest out because it was making my stomach nauseous and rumbly. For lunch I had some protein spaghetti with meat sauce. Now again I feel nauseous and rumbly. Anyone to through this? This is the first time it's happened for me that I can think of.
  7. I've been having so much trouble getting all my protein lately. I use cheeses for snacks, a protein shake a day, and try to pick foods that have protein. But I eat so little that it never seems to add up
  8. I miss kielbasa, spaghetti and meatballs (or meat sauce), salad, Pasta salad (I'm a carb addict), solid chicken, steak, French fries, fish and chips, Chinese food.... I know I'll never have some of these again, but if anyone has ideas on what is OK to get for Chinese, or other ideas, I'd gladly welcome them!
  9. It's possible it's just some residue blood from the cutting. Let us know what the surgeon says!
  10. They're at my local nutrition shop but also available at questproteinbar.com. Haven't tried then yet but if...no not if, WHEN I try them, I'll let you know how they are
  11. I've been fine with sugars and carbs so far. It's the grease and oil that gets me. Have to be very careful of the fats.
  12. The only time I had something hast for hours like that was when I ate something WAY too spicy and I was gassy/nauseous/puking for 9 hours. But once I got all the gas and food out I felt better.
  13. Did you eat something gassy? Have you tried some papaya enzyme? Are you nauseous? I'd say if it doesn't start easing up soon you should call the surgeons office and see what they say.
  14. I tried them and they were fine. The skin is ok, just depends how sensitive you are to sugar.
  15. Love the name. Very catchy!
  16. Sounds like it. It's definitely low enough sugar.
  17. I keep a jar in the medicine cabinet just in case, though I haven't needed them yet. They work so much faster and better than other things I've tried.
