  1. One slice of cheese and about 5 shaved slices of turkey. Boy am I full.
  2. Happy birthday! Did you put a candle in the jello? Lol
  3. Sorry you have to go through that! Your weight loss still isn't bad though considering you haven't been able to do much exercise.
  4. I lost 15 at my one week post op appointment. I always take off whatever I can, shoes included lol
  5. Oooh lasagna cupcakes?? I HAVE to check out this site!
  6. Don't take that the wrong way though. That was just a little 'constructive criticism'.
  7. There is a rather large difference in 'constructive criticism' and 'obnoxiousness'. We should welcome constructive criticism, as we can learn from each others experiences. The sarcastic and obnoxious comments, however, are uncalled for. This is a support forum, not a 'lets see how much of a douchewaffle I can be to people' forum.
  8. I was actually told by my dr, and nutritionist, not to bother running. They said you get the same workout by walking briskly without the harsh impact on the knees. I had been thinking about taking up running.
  9. Didn't feel like typing it but if it's not readable I will. It sounds amazingly delicious and 45 g of Protein for one piece!
  10. Welcome! They're a local company, it's good to see them taking off so well.
  11. It's scary that it's so close to home! I'm about 50 miles south of Boston.
  12. My nutritionist told me not to worry about anything right now other than protein and sugar.
  13. Mashed taters, broccoli, and cauliflower. Ate at moms house so made do with what she fixed. I tried 1/2 a banana today for the first time. And some clam chowder for lunch. No problems with either one. Not a good protein day for me lol
  14. It really is good on crackers or toast. It was at the local store that carries my vitamins but they have a website. Few different flavors available. This is the first one I've tried. www.nuts-n-more.com
  15. I must be buying the wrong hummus because everyone says it's good protein but the ones I've gotten have almost no protein.
  16. I know the fat is high but the saturated fat is low and no trans fat, which are the bad ones.
  17. Found this at the local bariatric specialty nutrition store. OMG it is absolutely delicious! Has a very gritty texture from the flax but it is so yummy. So much better than Peanut Butter.
  18. Oh, Wendy's chili is good for protein too!
  19. You can do cheese as well. Cottage cheese, cheese sticks, and mini baby bells are good. Also eggs have lots of protein. I do my best to get my protein in ever day but there are just some days that I need variety. So some days I don't get nearly enough but I try to fill in at least some of it with cheese snacks in between meals.
  20. I know it does. But a year and a half is nothing compared to a safe, healthy baby! Not that it can't be done, as jerz is proof! Just think it through and make the best decision for your future baby
  21. I think the main reason most ask you to wait so long is to cut down on your chance of transfer addiction. Mine said he wants me to have the full year to overcome whatever 'food addictions' I may have before adding in alcohol.
