  1. Yeah he does. I know I have a pretty high sugar tolerance because I haven't yet dumped. But I'm not interested in finding that limit, especially when getting blood drawn.
  2. Anyone have one of these done post-op? I'm scheduled for one, and I'm wondering how it's going to effect me. I generally handle sugars fine, but I don't know what my limit is. I'm kinda worried I'll get sick :-/ plus I have to do it in the morning and go into work afterward.
  3. I seriously screwed myself up, though. This is an absolutely horrible period. Awful cramps and really heavy
  4. Not pregnant! Never been glad to get my period before LOL
  5. I did decaf for the first couple months but now I'm back to regular. I drink a cup a day.
  6. None of the above....sometimes I'll order a meal that has good protein, but I don't ban myself from eating other things. I'm usually more focused on trying to find something that won't make me sick. If I can't find anything, I take the safe route and get a salad.
  7. Congratulations!!
  8. This morning I woke up with some light spotting. Nervous again because I haven't had spotting in between periods since my first month on the ring. Taking another test sometime this weekend.
  9. I lived off of tomato soup and unsweetened applesauce for the first two weeks. Broth is good also. I didn't start protein right away (I was bad) but unflavored powdered protein added into liquids is good. Also my doctor recommended the Atkins shakes, which I still use.
  10. It depends on how you've been handling sugars. I handle them fine so I'm able to drink juices, I just try to limit them. If you're more sensitive to sugars I wouldn't try it. If not, start with the trop50 and see how you go, sip by sip.
  11. I know, I'm a big mess right now! Tonight I bought a 3-pack and took one. It was negative. I know it's too early to know its accurate but it'll ease my mind temporarily. I'll take another one closer to my period time.
  12. The thing is, I don't know that the ovulation date and fertile dates in my tracker are correct this month because of the issue with the ring. Even so, I know I'm supposedly super fertile and it probably doesn't matter WHEN my fertile days are. They're all fertile days.
  13. I have a period tracker on my phone. According to that my fertile days were the 17th-21st and the 23rd-27th, and my ovulation day was the 22nd. I'm on Nuva ring but I had tried the 4 week method where you leave it in and go directly to a new ring without a period. That didn't work well and I had breakthrough bleeding every single day for 3 weeks. So I took the ring out 3-4 days ahead of time and gave my body a week and a half to 'reset'. I put the new ring in on the 19th, but my bf got a little carried away on the 18th. Seeing as how the ring had been out for a week and a half and the new one probably took another 7 days to be fully effective, I don't think I was protected at that point.
  14. How soon can you take a pregnancy test? The bf and I had a little *accident* a week and a half ago. My ovulation day was the 22nd. I know you're supposed to wait until you've missed a period, but I'm a freaking nervous wreck here. What's the earliest? Not sure if I've had symptoms or not, it's so hard to tell after the surgery. If something makes you nauseous that's normal lol.
  15. Not in the way you'd think....I've always had a small issue with my sugar getting low periodically. I always wondered if I was mildly hypoglycemic. It happened every so often before surgery. Since surgery it didn't happen at all, then in the last two week it's happened 3 times. I get shaky and stuff and have to have something with a little sugar to bring it up. I'm not sure if it's something I should call the surgeons office about. Does anyone else have this issue?
  16. Well I'm down 10 sizes! Finally in twoderland LOL....weight loss has slowed a bit, but not stopped. I think because I don't get enough protein most days. I have issues with that.
  17. Great job! I think I'm losing a little slower because I don't often meet my protein goal, for several reasons. Definitely need to work on that.
  18. Sugar doesn't effect me much. I still drink orange juice, though instead of a big glass I'll just drink a small amount. For the most part I try to stay away from juice.
  19. I've been doing Zumba and Yoga classes at work. And I've dropped 10 sizes so far!
  20. Try Michael Wayne's in Wareham. I love them!
  21. I think it might've been gas. Or maybe a cracker piece moving through my passages that wasn't chewed enough.
