  2. Thank YOU!!! I know this week the surgery center will call me, I can't wait to get this change happening!!
  3. And I'm singing blonde's song CALL ME, call me call me any any time CALL ME! Hurry up I want a date!!!
  4. I've told my dad and my husband. The closest friend I told, we we are no longer friends. :•\ I'm not telling anyone else until this summer and after some weight has come off and I've gotten into a good routine with working out. I want only positive stuff, not the crazy unsupported stuff, I know I will deal better later with it after I've gotten into my new long term lifestyle!
  5. I'm wondering this! I thought maybe there would be more peeling since liquids past right through the pouch! No??
  6. I'm worried about this too. The release of stuff!! Im already on a high dose of antidepressant maybe that will help? I just want to be fun and full of life and not crappy!!
  7. I'm believe I've been freaking out the past or two waiting for the approval. Called last night and I've been approved, now waiting for the Dr to get the letter and call me to set a date. I've been eating and eating and eating till I am full at supper time. Trying to figure out if its the "amount", the "taste", the "feeling" that has made me eat and make bad choices. I think it's been the taste and the not willing to live within means and stuff myself. I'm going through some remorse already about my upcoming new food relationship. So excited, so ready for the commitment, the very structured guidelines, the limits! I'm worried about my Water intake. So I've been chugging water like crazy too. I'm of no help, but going through emotions!
  8. OHHH MYYYYY GOODNESSSSSS!!!!! I called BCBS Anthem tonight to see how the resubmit of weight went last Friday, IM APPROVED!!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!! It says my dos is Jan 14!! But I haven't set a date with the dr yet!! Hmmm!!!! Geez, this is crazy and fast an I'm so excited! Hope to hear from surgical center tomorrow!!
  9. Congrats!!! I super hope to be the first of feb! Just waiting for that phone call! Hope we can be surgery pals!
  10. I gulp now and can drink a pint glass in nothing flat, I think I will miss drinking Water quickly more then food. When you are thirsty you are thirsty, or does being thirsty subside after RNY? Ugh! Off to enjoy a bunch of water while I still can.....
  11. I currently drink 99oz water a day +. I'm always drinking water, all day. I'm so worried about being so thirsty and feeling like I can't get enough to drink after surgery. I've read where people get in *only* 20 oz of water!! Makes me feel anxious just thinking of that!
  12. You should inquire about it- you carry other items you have to sit down inside the rooms? I'm a lit tutor and I carry water with me at all times and set it down as in enter into the class rooms. As long as your container is spill proof I can't see what the bother would be.
  13. I've got anthem bcbs and I didn't have to do a 12 month thing. I've had a physc eval, surgeon consolation, nutritionist appointment and I'm waiting for insurance approval. I did have to go re weigh yesterday because in November my BMI was 39.9 and they had to have me at/over 40- gotta love those Holliday pounds (thank goodness) BMI was 40.6
  14. Found out today that surgery was denied because I was 39.9 BMI with no morbidities. She said to run in and she would reweigh me- I've never been so happy to have gained 4 pounds over the holidays! Today's BMI is 40.6- she said she is faxing to insurance and should hear back by next week!! She said I will have a date set before the end of feb for surgery! I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
  15. I am SO excited, we are basically the same weight and I was 136 and a size 4 at one time! I so can't wait to keep all this weight off!! Good job and what an inspiration you are!!
  16. Just received my bcbs anthem EOBs and they are denying both the nutritionalist and surgical center consult charges!! WTHeck! From what I've been told GoodYear bcbs is a great insurance, wonder why they are denying!
  17. Thank you!!
  18. May I have a copy too please? Familyof4ks@aol.com Thank you! Wendee
  19. Are you working out?? Even with walking your legs will creat more muscle and muscle weighs more then fat. If you are losing inches that's the great thing!! You may be building muscle which is also great too. More muscle mass you build the more calories you will burn and the weight will drop on the scale.
  20. I know right?! I didn't include to tell her about Tuesday night .99 margaritas with my husband and Sunday bloody Mary's.
  21. Hi! My physc eval was covered, just had to pay the co-pay. I'm waiting for the nutritionalist to fax my stuff to the dr so they can submit to insurance. Nurse is contacting nutr today to ask for paperwork so it can keep moving on!! I'd love a February 1st date. That could happen if they hurry and get the ok from insurance!!
  22. Mine was pretty simple. I'm an easy going person though and chatted it up with her. I felt comfortable and it was easy to talk to her. She did say because I drink roughly (6 beers a week) that I was borderline having a drinking problem. Thought that was a little strange but assured her it was socially for football and what ever. She passed me!
  23. My dad knows, he's had WLS 2 years ago and i've been asking him lots of questions. My husband knows and is very supportive. I told a close friend- we are now no longer friends :•\ so that's all I have planned to tell. Maybe a year out I will tell whom ever asks that I has surgery but for now it's only my business. My work knows I'm having surgery and that's the extent of their knowledge.
  24. Totally amazing great job!!!!
  25. Thanks mami-- it's keeping it off that is also a problem. I'm looking forward to a life change! Hard work either way- this way I'm hopeful it will stay off!
