Dr engstrand was mine. I researched him and he was a top rated surgeon. However he doesn't have much bed side manner it seems.
I've heard that! Dr. B is pretty decent. I had some pretty serious complications AND a gall bladder removal, so we're pretty much bffs now. Lol

When people say that this is life changing, its a complete underestimation. This is most difficult and rewarding thing you'll ever do. I'm 7 and a half months out and my life has changed in the best way possible.

Had my six month appointment yesterday. Down 121 lbs, a total of 58% of my excess weight! For the first time ever, I was told I had to eat more!!!
Has anyone tried drinking yet? I'm celebrating my 30th birthday this weekend and would like to have a sip or two. What works? What are some good choices? Am I the only one crazy enough to try this? Feedback is appreciated!

Hey guys I'm down 105 pounds so far my surgery was on October 30th I feel amazing was in a size 20 and I'm down to between 11-13 right now I have been at a stand still for a couple weeks so I am upping my Protein and started hitting the gym again but I'm looking for some Good Snacks I do beef Jersey and special k protein bars and also I love special k protein cerealI always go for green yogurt for a snack. High in protein AND Calcium. Otherwise, Atkins have protein bars that are high in protein and low in sugars (read: 1 gram sugar!). Otherwise roasted chickpeas are yummy too! You're doing an amazing job!!!

That's fantastic! I drink 8 ounces every now and then. Decaf of course.
My doc is very much so against caffeine, and I feel like decaf is a gateway drug!

Hi surgery buddies! How is everyone doing? So far so good! Down 109 lbs... I seriously miss coffee, though...

So I have a question (or four)... are you eating three meals a day? Or are you eating five small meals a day? And are you losing or have you stalled??? Also, if you get to the end of the day and haven't met your Protein goal, how do you supplement?

My nutritionist says absolutely no less than 800 and no more than 1100.
