  1. I hear you, doesn't take much to fill me up either.
  2. I went back to work today, it's been a long day. I planned out my meals from Breakfast through Dinner, and packed all my containers for Am, Mid Day including, Drinks, Protein Shakes, Juice. Today was my first day on Puréed, so Cottage Cheese for AM meal and Refried Beans for Mid afternoon meal. Dinner I going to try lean Turkey Chili puréed a bit. I bought a Rotisserie Chicken yesterday, I going to chop-purée and mix with LF Miracle Whip for Lunch tomorrow. So far very few problems with food.
  3. I'm from Clovis just outside of Fresno, been to Los Banos many times.
  4. Lean turkey Chilii, puréed a bit
  5. Thank you, I will go slow and not do anything to put pressure or strain on my stomach.
  6. My surgeon never told me this, Wow great idea.
  7. My Surgeon told me Tuesday I can start exercise moderately, like Treadmill, Exercise Bike, but no Aerobics yet, he said I can do light hand weights. I have 3 pound dumbbells and was wondering if anybody has good exercises for Fat, Flabby Underarms, they are gross, is there a good exercise for that, not that would interfere with my stomach healing? I appreciate your thoughts and ideas. Thanks
  8. Prayers on the way. Best of Luck.
  9. That's just head hunger girl, push past it, you'll do just fine girl. My family had KFC tonight and I thought I would really have a problem and I didn't. I'm going to eat some Greek Yogurt and have juice and my Water. We all got this. Im so proud of us all, it's hard work, but again we are worth it as you say, push on.
  10. Congrats to you. Best if luck on your recovery.
  11. My surgeon said If you have Gerd or Acid Reflux that the Vertical Sleeve Revision is not an option to choose. I agree the research on RNY has far out weighed that of the Sleeve Surgery, and the results of weight loss are greater with this surgery then the other two.
  12. It sounds like your Surgeon's ideas and mine are so similar, your diet is just like mine too, I too am afraid to cheat. I'll get there soon enough. You were the day after me I think, I was 4/23.
  13. Great Appt this morning, Dr. very pleased with my progress, incisions look really good, I can now do exercises like Treadmill. Exercise Bike, all cardio I must wait until after week 3, still no lifting over 10 pounds for 2 weeks then nothing over 20 pounds for another 2 weeks. He started me on all my vitamins today too. I was down 14.5 pounds since surgery, that's the excess fluids from the hospital plus 10 more pounds. Yay I'm so excited, never ever have I ever achieved that when dieting ever. He told me to continue full liquids and then switch to puréed soft next week for 2 weeks then on to normal foods, I can't wait.
  14. Walk, Walk, Walk that helps with the Gas pains.
  15. Good Luck to all going through surgery today, prayers for a speedy recovery.
