  1. Do do the tickler for weight loss go here : Trying To Conceive Ticker Click on the weight loss link and create your own. When you are done it will give you some code to copy. Paste it into your signature and it should work. Be sure you use the code for discussion boards because I think they give you several different ones.
  2. ha. LA is the food capital. I spent a week in Tampa and it was completely weird. They served Turkey ravioli and alot of other veggie pasta dishes. The whole time I was there I was thinking about red beans, fried food and Tony's... Must be somethign in the water down here..
  3. I use Isopure from GNC. It is already mixed and the alpine punch tastes like a sort of kool-aide. There is an after taste, well not really a taste, it sucks the moisture out of your mouth. However, once that is over it tastes great. It is not terribly filling but it tastes good and it doesn't have air bubbles.
  4. I loove my elliptical! I have one with magnetic resistance though so it doesn't hurt my joints too much. Although I love bikes too, I prefer the elliptical.
  5. Marilyn, I did the same thing There was this really cute skirt at Bush Gardens and all they had was a Large (of course by large it fits my cousin who is a size 10) I am a 18 so I hung it over my closet so I see it everyday. I can't wait for the chance to wear it.
  6. i am scheduled for 8/8!! I can't wait!
  7. I felt the same way. I felt like I should be able to do it on my own too. My doctor doesn't let us drink for six months after surgery.
  8. I am a high school calculus, adv. math and stats teacher. I am going to be banded on 8/8. I am kindof wondering how I am going to be able to eat my lunch, go to the bathroom, etc all in 25 min. Especially if I have to chew really slow. We will see. I am hoping that I will have more energy after being banded and loosing some weight. I also coach the math team and the days we practice after school are killer on my energy.
  9. mine 13,500 for everything except optifast and a year's worth of fills. I went through carecredit to finance my band too. I got approved really fast and it is a medical credit card. I liked that idea since i figure I might want plastic surgery after I pay off the band.
  10. Judi, I will set up a site on either facebook or on myspace. Which one do you think would be better? And how do you suggest finding people?
  11. I wasn't sure if I could take antacids.. I called and asked and they said I could drink this soy stuf from smoothie king but I really didn't like it and it didn't stay down well either. I guess I will call though and be more specific.
  12. August 8th I can't wait.. Anyone out here have bad reflux? I am refluxing these thin Optifast things...Any ideas on what might help? I think that will be the worst part of the pre-op diet.
  13. I purchase optifast online and had it shipped to me. However, you do need a prescription code to do it. Perhaps you could speak with your doctor's office about that.
  14. I will be the begining of August also. I can't wait!!
  15. I am having mine done by Dr. Thomas. I know they are in the same practice and I have heard good things about the practice.
