  1. I beat myself up ALOT...embarrassed that I used food to cope with depression, childhood and marital traumas... I hate that I didn't have the willpower to make the changes on my own... so I completely understand! Surgery 10-2...down 42 pounds and feel good but definitely have those up and down days. No regrets but fighting depression... I lost my best friend ...food :) hang in there and thanks for posting this!

  2. I am 3 weeks post op and down 30 lbs!! I am starting to notice things like my watch and wedding ring being too big and my pants and shirts being loose! I'm so happy! So far this is the best thing I have ever done!!

We had surgery same day and I'm down 33! It is best feeling ever... so happy for you!!

  3. I'm an open book and I am afraid of failing.... I answer people honestly and a couple of co-workers stated that they were worried but now see that even with only a 30 pound lose at this point that I am happier and feeling better! I've been surprised that the people that are considering surgery... no regrets!

  4. Go Rhonda! Hey have you been feeling nauseated a lot?

SD: 10/10/12' date=' Converted from Lapband to RNY, HW (before band) 263, HW (RNY) 230, Preop 219, after surgery 223, current 210[/quote']

I do feel nauseated but eating ice chips and sugar free Popsicles have helped alot!! I still struggle with getting in 60 g of Protein but working on it! You are so close to the 100's... I'm excited for you! I can't wait to be in 100's... but setting goals of 25 pounds right now! Congrats on current weight!! :)

  5. Hey' date=' the chopped chicken was at the hospital as my puréed food that I had to eat before I could go home. It was in a tiny little condiment cup with a top and it had chicken gravy drizzled over it. I never had puréed chicken but it was so good, or I could have been really hungry! Lol

After reading your post I tried a small amount of chicken w/gravy ...so far so good. I am so scared of over-filling my pouch.
