  1. Awesome, Ray. Yes, I am soaking up some sage advice already and plan to have my NINJA whirling away when I get home. I just googled the QUEST bars that some one suggested and found a distributor near my house. I am all set with flavored & unflavored protein powders, crystal light, propel, add infinitum, etc! LOL. Just 2-days and a wake-up call and I'm there! It's taken a year to get this far, but I feel really prepared and informed so it was worth it! I'm in So. Cal. Thanks for yor reply, Diane.
  2. Hi everyone. I'm having my surgery on 9/5 and finding your posts to be really good info. Hope you all have a great long weekend and for everyone just thru sugary, wishing you speedy recoveries and comfortable days ahead! cheers! :-)
  3. FYI, costco makes a premixed protien shake that is Bariatric approved. PREMIER PROTIEN, 11 oz. carton is one serving and 30 gms. of protien and they taste good! vanilla & chocolate only, about $22 for an 18 pk. case. Also, Isopure makes an unflavored protien. I have not tried this, but the reviews look good and a friend of mine says it is good. This can be added to most foods, i.e. Soups, drinks, veggies, etc. Can be mixed with just Water, b but some reviews said it's lousy with just plain water. Good luck, my surgery is this Wed., 9/5.
